Approach
We invest in alignment.
The differentiator isn’t check size or sector expertise. It’s that we back small companies whose founders want to build something that matters — and we bring operating experience, not just capital.

Operating experience
01
Sector-agnostic.
We don’t chase categories or wait for a thesis to be fashionable. We look for sound businesses and exceptional people, wherever they’re building. Good judgment travels across sectors; twenty years of operating across technology, real estate, and care services taught us that the fundamentals don’t change.
02
Vision-aligned.
Capital is a commodity. Alignment isn’t. We invest where the founder’s ambition goes beyond the exit — companies built to matter, not just to sell. If your vision is a quick flip, we’re the wrong partner. If it’s a business your community will feel, we should talk.
03
Operator-backed.
Our judgment was earned the slow way: building, hiring, missing payroll deadlines by hours, and shipping anyway. When we invest, that experience comes with the check — in pricing, in operations, in the decisions that don’t make it into board decks.
The math of patience
We underwrite the decade, not the exit window.
A business managed for a near-term sale optimizes what a buyer will pay for. A business managed for compounding optimizes what customers will stay for. The curves look similar for three years. They are not the same business by year ten.
How a partnership begins
01
Week 1
The conversation
Write to us. We read everything ourselves — no associates, no screening calls.
02
Weeks 2–4
Diligence
We dig into the operations, the unit economics, and the founder's intent. Expect operator questions, not spreadsheet theater.
03
Week 6
A clear answer
A yes or a no, with the reasoning either way. We don't string founders along to preserve optionality.
04
Years, not quarters
The partnership
Capital wires, then the real work starts — systems, hiring, the second product line, the long compound.
What founders can expect
Directness
You’ll know where you stand — in diligence, in the partnership, and when things get hard. We say no quickly and yes deliberately.
Operational help
Not a logo on your deck. Real help with the unglamorous parts: systems, hiring, vendor negotiations, the second product line.
Long-term orientation
We’re not managing a fund clock. We invest our own conviction, which means we can hold, support, and compound patiently.
